Happy Christmas, already?

If you’re planning a learning strategy for your organisation for 2018 then we’d be happy to consult on complementing that with an interactive virtual reality experience, to increase engagement and impact. The appetite for experimenting with this immersive medium for education and training and internal branding and communications is certainly growing now that the hardware is becoming more mainstream and accessible.

And it’s not just the hardware that’s becoming more accessible, but the software also. Public cloud computing giant, Amazon Web Services, recently announced a new platform for developers to create realistic virtual environments that can be populated with animated characters and other 3D objects – making it easier for developers to build VR experiences, and signifying a significant investment in the mixed reality space.

DIVERSIFLY ACHIEVEMENTS Q4 2017:

1.     I presented Diversifly’s learning in virtual reality concept (combining Hollywood storytelling with corporate learning) in the finals for Pitch@Palace in Sydney.  The initiative is owned by HRH The Duke of York, Prince Andrew, who sat on the judging panel along with key industry and investor representatives backing innovation and entrepreneurship (he is next to me in the middle of the pic below!).

2.     Joe Hutton, the entrepreneur behind change management software, Ralleo, mentioned Diversifly in his write up of Microsoft’s 2017 Summit last month in Sydney. With a focus on the people side of digital transformation at the Summit this year, his article makes for interesting reading (not least because he references us!). http://bit.ly/2AWliJH

3.     In October we completed trials of our Unconscious Bias training experience in virtual reality with professional services firm, Ernst and Young, resulting in some very positive testimonials and market validation. These were just three of the comments returned via our survey:

“Fantastic initiative – really bought the concept to life. Was great to experience the topic in such an immersive and engaging way”.

“Immersion was palpable and definitely results in a greater connection to the content and situation”.

“As a training tool this was impossible to disengage from!”

Wishing you a safe end to 2017 and much merriment with friends and family!

All the best, Lucie.
